Maintenance and upkeep of the crusher


1. The plastic crusher should be placed in a ventilated position to ensure the heat dissipation of the motor during operation and extend its lifespan;
2. Regularly add lubricating oil to the bearings to ensure lubrication between them;
3. Regularly check the tool screws. After using the brand new plastic crusher for 1 hour, tighten the screws of the moving and fixed blades with tools to strengthen the fixation between the blade and the tool holder;
4. To ensure the sharpness of the cutting edge of the cutting tool, it is necessary to regularly check the cutting tool to ensure its sharpness and reduce unnecessary damage to other components caused by blunt edges;
5. When replacing the cutting tool, the clearance between the moving and fixed blades is: 0.8mm for pulverizers above 20HP, and 0.5mm for pulverizers below 20HP. The thinner the recycled material, the gap can be adjusted appropriately;
6. Before the second startup, the remaining debris in the machine room should be removed to reduce startup resistance. Regularly open the inertia cover and pulley cover, remove the ash outlet under the flange, as the powder discharged from the plastic crusher room enters the shaft bearing;
7. The machine should maintain good grounding, regularly check if the plastic crusher belt is loose, and tighten it in a timely manner.
matters needing attention:
1. Before starting, the transmission wheel should be manually moved one or two turns to confirm its flexibility before starting the machine. Wait for the crusher to operate normally before feeding;
2. Before stopping operation, the feeding should be stopped and the material in the machine should be discharged before cutting off the power supply of the motor;
3. During operation, it is important to pay attention to the temperature of the bearings, maintain good lubrication, and pay attention to any abnormalities in sound and vibration. When abnormal situations are found, the vehicle should be stopped to check if it is stuck by objects that are not easily crushed or if the machine parts are damaged;
4. To maintain uniform feeding of the crusher and prevent overloading. Strictly prevent objects such as metal and wood that cannot be crushed from falling into the machine. When crushing is not possible, the moisture content of the feed should not be too high; When wet crushing, it is necessary to maintain an appropriate amount of water to prevent blockage due to insufficient flushing and reduce production capacity;
5. Check if the particle size of the crushed product meets the requirements. If there are too many particles exceeding the specified size, the cause should be identified (such as oversized screen gaps, wide discharge ports, worn hammers, etc.), and appropriate measures should be taken to eliminate them.
6. When the crusher is stopped, it is necessary to check whether the fastening bolts are secure and the degree of wear on the easily worn parts. For tooth crushers, parking opportunities should also be used to remove wood sandwiched between teeth;
7. Worn components should be replaced or repaired in a timely manner;
8. The safety device of the crusher should be kept in good condition and must not be invalidated to save time.
